A family food truck, painted so you cannot miss it
Delicias Tacos is a family-run Chicago food truck. Two trucks, one kitchen, and a colour scheme nobody forgets.
The pink truck and the koala
The wrap came before the reputation. A hot pink truck with a koala on the side, parked against the Chicago skyline, is not something you walk past without looking. People took pictures of it before they had eaten anything, and then they came back for the food.
The Loop knows us by now
Monday to Friday we park at three corners downtown, between ten and three. The same faces come back every week: office workers who have a usual order and who bring whoever is new on the team.
Then the birria happened
Quesabirria with consome, and the birriaramen that came out of playing around on the truck, are what people now travel across town for. Both are cooked the same way for an event as they are at the window.
We cater any type of party
The second truck, the purple one, does churros. Between the two of them we can cover a whole event, dinner and dessert, cooked on-site anywhere in Chicago: birthdays, quinceañeras, office lunches, weddings, festivals.

How we work
Fresh, on-site, always
Full mobile kitchen. Tortillas pressed by hand, meat on the grill, consome hot. Nothing arrives finished.
Same food, wherever we park
What you eat at Clark and Monroe on a Tuesday is what your guests eat at your wedding on a Saturday.

The pink is not an accident. At an event, the truck is the backdrop everybody ends up standing in front of.

Follow the pink truck
We post the day's corner every morning, plus whatever is coming off the grill. It is the fastest way to know where we are and what is on.
Ready when you are
We cater any type of party
Tell us the date, the place and how many people. We bring the truck, the kitchen and the whole pink circus, and we cook everything on-site.
